Chelsea & Sergio Wedding at Washington Square Park

Chelsea and Sergio were looking for an intimate wedding in Washington Square Park and booked us to photograph their day as well as having David officiate their ceremony. We had a great time with them talking about graffiti, food (Sergio is a chef) and our mutual love for the Lower East Side where they were spending the night (at the Ludlow Hotel). It was a little chilly but we were able to capture many shots around the area and had just enough natural light to capture their vows in the Park. It was such a perfect day!

Minerva & Dan City Hall wedding and reception at Taco Chulo Brooklyn

Minerva & Dan wanted to have a intimate ceremony at the City Hall with just the closest family members and then invite all their friends and relatives for a reception at one of their favorite spots in Brooklyn, the great Mexican restaurant Taco Chulo. We loved the area near the restaurant, specially since we had just seen the documentary “Los Sures” filmed there in the 80’s in what was a very Latin, vibrant community hit by the gang wars of the day. Now those gang days are over but the area still keeps the diversity while having a more peaceful and hip vibe. Great spot and great couple <3

Barbara and Andrea City Hall Elopement and a Italian love story on the East Village

Barbara and Andrea live in Bologna, Italy but they are absolutely in love with NYC, its history and its underground culture. We had a blast hearing stories about their own love story and also sharing experiences about this amazing city. They looked so great we couldn’t get over their 50’s glamorous look which was a perfect fit for a shoot around the East Village, their neighborhood of choice. Of course, so many good things have happened there, and so many more to come…

These two wanted to go for a stress free City Hall wedding with their parents and then photos around their neighborhood, Chinatown. For us it was a great experience since they have such an insider experience of Chinatown because of their background but also knowing personally the vendors from the shops they go to. We also had the chance to go and pick up their cute dog for photos all together. It was a Summer day in NYC, hot and humid as expected but we had some relieve with a nice breeze near the East river, between the two bridges.

Javi & Vicent intimate shoot in Bushwick

We love to shoot couples at their homes and neighborhoods where they feel more comfortable and they can show us around their favorite spots. Javi and Vicent are a couple originally from Barcelona but they’ve made New York their home. They took us around some cool graffiti streets in Bushwick and then we had the pleasure of shooting at their home and silver coated rooftop, a Brooklyn quintessential.
